Hello everyone! I just got back from Superstore... of course I ended up buying a few things so here's a mini haul. The whole point of me going there today was to pick up some skincare products and although I didn't get the ones I originally had in mind, I am super duper excited to try these ones out. Milani Brow and Eye Highlight Duo Pencil First Impression and Review | TheMakeupDiaries
Hey guys!! I'm back with another first impression review. Today's post features Milani's Brow and Eye Highlight Duo Pencil. I was beyond excited when I first saw this product at the drugstore a few weeks ago and I can't wait to tell you guys all about it. The first thing that came to mind when I saw this product was if this it was a dupe for the Anastasia Brow Fix!! Although I have yet to try the Anastasia Brow Fix it sure seems like a dupe to me.. maybe even better.
- Packaging: The packaging is pretty simple, not much to it. It's a double ended chubby brow pencil what do you expect? haha
- Price: You can buy this product from anywhere between $6-8. I bought mine at Superstore for $7.99.
- Ingredients: Isodecyl Isononanoate, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Euphorbia Cerifera Cera (Candelilla Wax), Cera Microcristallina (Microcrystalline Wax), Polymethyl Methacrylate, Silica, Copernicia Cerifera Cera (Carnauba Wax), Disteardimonium Hectorite, Tocopherol, Propylene Carbonate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxide (CI 77491). +/- May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77492, CI 77499).
- Other Facts: This can be thought of as a dupe of the Anastasia Brow Fix. It also comes in three shades. I picked up the one in Vanilla/Natural Taupe.
Basically this is a double sided brow pencil. It's very versatile though!! The darker side end can be used to fill in your eyebrows and shape and define them or can be used as an eyeshadow base. The other end (highlighter) can be used to highlight the arch of your brows or can be used in the inner corner of your eyes which adds brightness and makes you look more awake. As for the formula/application, I am in love the consistency. It apply's very smoothly and buttery which is great. It's really easy to use and that was a plus for me!!

Hey guys! So today since we haven't been posting too much I wanted to show you guys a couple of things I picked up from Lush. Even though it isn't a lot it's still something! As some of you may or may not know, my skin has been breaking out like never before and my skin loves Lush.. and since running out of my beloved Tea Tree Water Toner, I swung by my local Lush and ended up with a new (and very interesting) cleanser and some samples as well. I'm really excited about these products and will let you know if I like them after giving them a fair chance!

Hey guys! We're sorry for the lack of posts recently but this time of year is always insanely busy. We want to try and get out quality posts and we're trying our best but with one of the hardest years of school on our hands it is quite difficult. We're trying our very best and hope you guys don't mind! Anyways today I'm going to be reviewing the Garnier BB Cream. I bought this for $11 at my local Walmart. It ranges in price ($10-$20) depending where you buy it. There are different variations of this BB Cream but I bought the Tone Perfector.

Review:
When I first applied this, I applied WAY too much. It has beautiful coverage, but I've been breaking out like crazy so with its sheer coverage, it didn't really cover up my acne. I did however layer it onto where I was breaking up, and that helped. I noticed that I felt pretty greasy so when I powdered, instead of powdering only my t-zone, I powdered my entire face with a light powder. It stayed on pretty well, at lunch, I noticed that it did wear off on my acne, but everywhere else on my face it looked like it was sitting well. I did notice that I was a little oiler than normal, but it didn't even look insanely oily it looked very very dewy. A powder or a touch up could definitely fix that, and this is the time of day I usually powder up. By the end of the night, it was very worn off (my days are usually 12+ hours) and considering that my makeup never usually lasts (no matter what products I try!) and that I had a volleyball practice (a gruesome 2 hours..) it did fairly decent. This was my first ever BB Cream and I'm impressed but this isn't my Holy grail, I still love my Nars foundation more. However, this is good for someone who is always in a rush and needs nice coverage without feeling heavy and looking cakey. It was very moisturizing but I found it to be pretty greasy. Overall, it is good for a student like myself who is always in a rush and just needs an all in one product.

Milani Sangria Lipstick First Impression/Review | TheMakeupDiaries
Hello everyone!! I'm here with another first impression/review. With Fall approaching fast, I want to get ready for Fall makeup! I've never really been into the dark lips and bold winged liner but this year that seems to change. I want to start getting into that trend and I'm getting ready early because I'm so excited! Since Fall is just around the corner, I wanted to experiment with different products and looks so I came up with a list of lipsticks I want to buy sometime soon. I was at Superstore about 2 weeks ago and I thought I would start off by finding an affordable dark lipstick. I didn't want to go all out and buy a bunch of expensive dark lipsticks and end up not liking them. While I was there I was swatching tons and tons of lipsticks and I found the perfect one. I've always heard about Milani's lipsticks and that day I bought my first one! YAY! It just so happened it was a dark bold colour. I picked up Milani's lipstick in Sangria. I heard about that particular lipstick in a video before and I was just so attracted to the colour. Hope you guys enjoy!!
Price: I purchased this lipstick at Superstore when I was in Kelowna recently! I bought it for $6.99. The price ranges depending on where you live and where you buy it but in my opinion, 6.99 is a very affordable price for a lipstick.
Packaging: The packaging on this lipstick is simple, a plain gold colour. Although it isn't the worst packaging out there I wish it was more special and bold. I guess you get what you pay for!! I do like how you can get an idea of the colour on the bottom.
Product: After wearing this lipstick a few times, I've noticed a few things. First of all, the lipstick is scented. Personally I'm not a huge fan of scented lipsticks, but this one I can tolerate. I am horrible at describing scents.. I think it smells sort of fruity?! It smells pretty good if you ask me. The lipstick applies easily and is not completely drying but not moisturizing either. It's somewhere in the middle. I've noticed it doesn't stay on all day but I like how it leaves behind a tint on your lips. Lastly, I am disappointed in the colour pay off. I bought this lipstick because is was a dark magenta/purple. I expected it to be very dark.. exactly how it looked but when I applied it on my lips it was not what I expected. It was WAY lighter than I thought:(( I still like the colour though!!! It's also very buildable which is a plus.
Rating: 4/5
Overall Impression: There are many things I like about this product and only a few things I dislike. I really like how affordable the product is, how it smells, the tint it leaves behind, the colour and finish of the lipstick. I dislike how plain the packaging is and how the colour wasn't as dark and bold as I expected it to be. Overall, I think it is a pretty good lipstick. I don't think I would purchase another one but I'm happy I have at least one from this brand/line. I am completely sold on my MAC lipsticks and my YSL one... there is like nothing that can compare to them!!! Anyways I hope you guys found this somewhat helpful... look forward for more posts coming up:) love u guys
