Review Garnier BB Cream | TheMakeupDiaries

Hey guys! We're sorry for the lack of posts recently but this time of year is always insanely busy. We want to try and get out quality posts and we're trying our best but with one of the hardest years of school on our hands it is quite difficult. We're trying our very best and hope you guys don't mind! Anyways today I'm going to be reviewing the Garnier BB Cream. I bought this for $11 at my local Walmart. It ranges in price ($10-$20) depending where you buy it. There are different variations of this BB Cream but I bought the Tone Perfector.

Review:
When I first applied this, I applied WAY too much. It has beautiful coverage, but I've been breaking out like crazy so with its sheer coverage, it didn't really cover up my acne. I did however layer it onto where I was breaking up, and that helped. I noticed that I felt pretty greasy so when I powdered, instead of powdering only my t-zone, I powdered my entire face with a light powder. It stayed on pretty well, at lunch, I noticed that it did wear off on my acne, but everywhere else on my face it looked like it was sitting well. I did notice that I was a little oiler than normal, but it didn't even look insanely oily it looked very very dewy. A powder or a touch up could definitely fix that, and this is the time of day I usually powder up. By the end of the night, it was very worn off (my days are usually 12+ hours) and considering that my makeup never usually lasts (no matter what products I try!) and that I had a volleyball practice (a gruesome 2 hours..) it did fairly decent. This was my first ever BB Cream and I'm impressed but this isn't my Holy grail, I still love my Nars foundation more. However, this is good for someone who is always in a rush and needs nice coverage without feeling heavy and looking cakey. It was very moisturizing but I found it to be pretty greasy. Overall, it is good for a student like myself who is always in a rush and just needs an all in one product.
