Spring Time Makeup ♡ | TheMakeupDiaries

Hey guys, so as you all know Winter is slowly coming to an end and Spring is right around the corner! I love Spring not only because my birthday is Spring, but because of the pretty pastel colours, the weather, no more bulky jackets, and less make-up! For this Spring make-up Look, I went for very pink/peach colours that give you a radiance and glow lit from within.

  • Start off with a foundation that gives a dewy, radiant finish. I choose L'oreal's Tru Match Lumi foundation in W4, because it gives me that beautiful, glowy finish without looking oily.
  • Conceal those undereye dark circles! Concealing them will fake the effect of getting enough sleep (which I'm sure most of you don't get!) I used Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind concealer.
  • Although I didn't take a picture of this, use a setting powder on your t-zone only (not necessary if your skin is on the drier side). I used Benefit's Hello Flawless Powder.
  • Apply a luminous blush that looks natural on your skin. I used Milani's baked blush in Luminoso, because it's a pinky peach blush with beautiful glitters (that are not chunky at all) and make your cheeks look glowing!
  • Curl your lashes and use some mascara. Mascara definitely helps to open up your eyes and helps you appear less tired. You can use any mascara you want, as I believe that mascara is all personal preference. I used my favourite one at the moment, the L'oreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara.
  • Prime your eyes and apply a pink, natural looking eye shadow. I used the Naked 3 Palette from Urban Decay because of the rose hued shadows. I used Strange all over my lid, Limit in my crease, Nooner right on top of it still on the crease, Burnout on the inner half of my lid, and strange on my lid, but only under the fold of my eyelid (I don't know a better way of describing it!) Then on my lower lashline, I used buzz, to smoke out my lashline without being too harsh.
  • Apply your favourite lip product(s). I used Revlon's lip butter in Juicy Papaya (It looks as good as it sounds, trust me) and a bit of Revlon's Kiss me Coral lip gloss on top!
