YSL Rouge Volupte Silky Sensual Radiant Lipstick First Impression andReview | TheMakeupDiaries

Hello everyone♡ ♡  A few weeks ago it was my birthday and I received a YSL Rouge Volupte Silky Sensual Radiant lipstick from Roshelle♡ . Most of you know that I was dying to get my hands on this lipstick but I couldn't bring myself to buy it!! I was extremely overjoyed with this amazing gift and that I can finally start my YSL lipstick collection. Today, I will be doing a first impression and review on it now that I've had time to test it out.

Besides, the stunning packaging the product itself is amazing. This particular line the Rouge Volupte Silky Sensual lipstick contains an SPF of 15 which is very convenient and protects your lips from the sun all year round. The formula is very creamy and opaque and glides smoothly onto the lips just like butter..in a good way!! Also, its very hydrating, moisturizing and long-wearing. The smell is very pleasant, I think of sweet watermelons when I smell this lipstick. I have the shade Opera Rose number 29 and it is described as a vibrant rose pink. I totally agree, it is beautiful and it's the perfect one to start of my collection.

Since this lipstick is very pricey, my expectations were pretty high and I have to say I'm very pleased. I'm very impressed with the lipstick and I'm looking forward to purchasing more in the future. Although the price is a big factor, at least I know that it's worth the money. I would say that buying this lipstick is definitely a splurge but for what it is, I feel like every girl into makeup should have at least one in their collection. Buying this won't be a disappointment. Overall I am in love with this lipstick and want to purchase more colours as well as try the Rouge Volupte Shine lipsticks as well.
