Naked Basics Review/Swatches | TheMakeupDiaries
Hey guys! So we thought after doing the review on the Naked 3 we would do a review on another palette we have from the same brand, Urban Decay. Today we're going to be doing a review on the Naked basics palette. We both have the palette and we wanted to share our thoughts on it. So to begin, the Naked basics palette has 6 shadows in total. All are matte except for the first shade called Venus which is a soft demi-matte white.. that we would consider to be a satin. All the next 5 shadows are matte. Foxy, the next shade was in Naked 2, and is a beige with a yellow undertones. W.O.S (Walk of shame) is a very pretty lid colour perfect for evening out your eyelids as it is a shadow that appears to look like your own skin. Naked 2 is a soft taupe with a hint of grey. Faint is a perfect transition colour because it is a matte brown darker than Buck in the Naked palette. Finally the last colour is Crave which appears to be a black with hints of dark brown and also matte. We think that this palette is a super versatile palette PERFECT for travelling. It is smaller than an iPhone 5, and very compact. The packaging is perfect for travelling and the colours are just so beautifully made, super pigmented (as expected from Urban Decay) and everyday colours perfect for if you want a little eyeshadow or if you want to create a full eye look. It has all the basic colours you need really, with a highlight colour, a lid colour, a crease colour and a dark brown/black to smudge on the waterline and anywhere else you'd like.
