NARS Orgasm Blush ($32) vs ELF Candid Coral Blush ($3) DUPE? | TheMakeupDiaries

Hi guys! Today I thought I would do a comparison between NARS' Orgasm and Elf's Candid Coral. When I first started out with makeup, I remember wanting the NARS blush sooo bad as so many Youtuber's had it but I would see it all over tumblr. But then I owned the Elf blush. I searched it up after getting it for reviews and all that and a lot of people mentioned it to be a dupe for NARS' Orgasm. However, as a beginner all my makeup was from the drugstore. And I just got the Nars blush recently and I've been waiting to do this comparison for years! So let's get started!

The prices for these two products are really far apart. NARS' retails for about $32 CAD while Elf retails for $3. That's a huge difference. First of all, the packaging is similar. They are both in black square compacts with the brand's name lettering in white at the front. Right away, I feel like Nars' packaging is just a lot sleeker, and it just feels more expensive. In the elf one there is also a little rectangular cut out to give a preview of the product. Anyways, when you open it up at the top of the packaging, the Nars one includes a gigantic full size mirror while the Elf one has a 3/4 mirror. I feel like the Elf one is just more peachy toned and the Nars one is more pink with gold undertones. They are both pretty, but I like the Nars one better. I feel like I get more product and the blush looks beautiful, natural and flattering on me and every other skin tone. I do really like the Elf one too for days where I just want to look natural and have a teeny touch of colour on my cheeks. But for the price, the Elf one is pretty awesome. Are they dupes for each other? No, I don't think so. The elf one is more peachy with golden shimmer while the Nars one is more pink with gold undertones. I would say though, if the Nars one is not within your budget, Elf's is a great blush that gives you a similar effect but is not a dupe.
