Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder First Impression/Review |TheMakeupDiaries

Hey guys! So last night while at the mall, I went into The Body Shop to see that they were having their friends and family sale so it was basically 40% off everything in the store! So I saw it as a perfect opportunity to grab one product that I was particularly interested in.. The Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder. I heard Estée (EssieButton) and Ingrid (missglamorazzi) rave about this product. Since it was usually $20 CAD, after the 40% off it was $12 so I decided to give it a go!

Claims: Gives your skin an even bronze, matte finish with a honey enriched pressed powder.

  •        Matte finish
  • Convenient Compact

Right off the bat: Can we talk about how cute the packaging is?! In the front, there are little reflective honeycombs and the packaging isn't cheap. Looks like it will be a natural colour. After I swatched it for the first time, I could tell that the powder was super soft and pigmented, and I think it will go on softly.

Onto the first impression:
12:20: first applied. Application was super smooth and the product really glided on nicely. Very similar effect to Benefit Hoola. Matte finish, and looks good for contouring and bronzing up the skin.

3:45- bronzer still looks awesome!! I think I have a new HG bronzer!!! In love. My contour still looks good, when usually after a couple of hours it fades.

5:55: my contour looks AMAZING. I love this bronzer! It looks so natural and it hasn't faded on my skin. I'll update you at the end of the night.

End of the night: I definitely really love this new bronzer! I can't stop feeling how pigmented ans soft/finely milled it is, as it glides on so beautifully on the cheeks. I love how the bronzer isn't orange toned/ brown where it looks muddy but gives your cheekbones such a natural glow! Love this stuff!
