Valentines Day Makeup Tutorial! ♡ | TheMakeupDiaries

So Valentine's Day is sneaking in just around the corner and what better to way to show you a makeup tutorial for it! Whether your going out with a couple of your friends, on a date with that special someone, or just staying home. So let's jump into it :)

Step 1: Prime your face. It helps your makeup go on smoother and stay on longer. I used Maybelline's baby skin.

Step 2: Apply foundation. Foundation will help even out your skin tone and give you a flawless face! I used Nars' Sheer Glow foundation. It gives me a natural radiance without looking too cakey!

Step 3: Concealer any blemishes/dark spots and your undereye area. I used Nars' radiant creamy concealer.

Step 4: Apply powder onto the areas you get most oily.

Step 5: Use bronzer to define your cheekbones. Put it on your cheekbones and on your forehead to give you a sun kissed radiance. I used Benefit's hoola bronzer.

Step 6: Use a blush on the apples of your cheeks. I used Milani's baked blush in Luminoso, which is very light but still gives you that healthy flush. You want to use a very simple and radiant blush so it doesn;t clash with the eye look.

Step 7: Prime your eyelids for eyeshadow. I used Urban Decay's primer potion.

Step 8: Curl your eyelashes, and apply your favourite mascara. Mascara can make your eyes look wide awake and gives your eyes "oomf!" I used Maybelline's falsies flared (waterproof) and Maybelline The Rocket mascara. Apply until you have your desired eyelash look!!

EYESHADOW:

• After priming, use W.O.S from the Naked basics and apply all over lid.
• Take Naked 2 from Naked Basics and apply all over crease.
• Take Liar from Naked 3 and apply onto crease.
• Take the bottom colour in the Avon duo (Pink Sunrise/Matin rose) and apply all over mid crease.
• Take Nooner from Naked 3 palette and apply on outer crease.
• Then take Buzz from Naked 3 and apply on outer lid.
• Take Half Baked from Naked 1 (Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the Naked palette) and apply on inner lid right beside Buzz.
• Take Blackheart from Naked 3 and apply that on outer V. Blend until there are no more harsh lines.
• Take Venus from the Naked Basics palette and use that to highlight your brow bone.
• Take Strange from Naked 3 and use that in your inner tear duct to highlight.
• Blend all shadows together, and reapply buzz/half baked if they have faded.

Step 9: Use a liquid eyeliner and create a small wing at the end of your eye. I used Maybelline's Master Precise.

Step 10: Line your waterline and your upper lash line to give more a dramatic look and to make your eyelashes appear thicker. I used Maybelline's master drama eyeliner.
Step 11: Apply a very subtle pink lipstick. I used Mac's See Sheer and I LOVE IT!
