Favourite Drugstore Lippies!! | TheMakeupDiaries

Hey guys!! I'm sure you all know how much we love lip products, I just can't get enough of them. Although I'm really gravitating towards high end lip products, I still reach for my good old favourite drugstore ones! Roshelle and I are planning to share with you our MAC lipstick collection soon but I thought it would be a great idea to share with you my favourites from the drugstore. Lip products from the drugstore are such a great alternative if you don't want to splurge on more expensive ones. They are amazing quality and most of them will fit your budget. Also, since there are so many different kinds available you will find the perfect one for you! All of these lip products range from $3-$10 and I will tell you my thoughts on all of them like a mini review! Let's get started!

  • Nivea's Kiss of Milk and Honey Lip Balm: This is my absolute favourite lip balm. It moisturizes my lips like no other and it's so inexpensive. The formula of this lip balm is so smooth and the scent is very calming and settle. I never leave the house without this and it's  the only lip balm that works perfectly on my lips without irritating them after a while. Plus, this is only $3 at the drugstore!! I recommend this to everyone!
  • Nivea Lipbutter in Vanilla and Macadamia: Again Nivea impresses me with their lip butters! They come in little tins and are super moisturizing. I use this when my lips are extremely dry because the formula is a thicker consistency. I am a huge fan of the smell.. its to die for! I want to try all the lip butters in the collection and this product is around $3 or $4 as well.
  • Maybelline Baby Lips: I'm sure everyone knows what these are! To me, these are tinted lip balms. I love the packaging so fun and eye-catching! I own a few of these and I'm such a fan. They are sheer, shiny and moisturizing. They provide your lips with a sheer tint of colour perfect for everyday. There a variety of colours and each one smells amazing! This product ranges from $3 to $5 and they contain and SPF of 15 plus carry lots of product.
  • Maybelline Colour Whispers: Let me just say that when I found these at the drugstore I was freaking out! The packaging is so cute and there are 20 shades in the line. Not only do I like the packaging but I love the product itself. The lipstick is opaque and creamy. It applies smoothly on the lips and has no scent. I really enjoy these lipsticks and I love the variety of colours in the collection. They are around $10 at the drugstore so if you find them for a cheaper price take the opportunity to buy a few!
  • Revlon Colourburst Lipbutters: These are by far my ultimate favourite lip products from the drugstore. I keep one with me at all times! The formula is soo creamy, moisturizing and opaque. They are also shiny, not sticky and they don't excentuate the lines of your lips. These lip butters which to me are lipsticks, are just so amazing! If you don't own these you are seriously missing out. I love them so much and the packaging is very pretty. Also, there are a variety of shades to choose from and they cost about $10. You are really getting a deal with these because as I said, they are stunning.
  • Revlon Kissable Balm Stains and Revlon Laquer Balms: I am a huge fan of these types of products, retractable lip balms and stains! These have great colour pay off and are long lasting. Although, they have a drying feeling they are great for when you want a nice stain to your lips. The shades they have are gorgeous and the formula is great. There is a slight minty scent to them which some people may not like but it wears off after a while. The laquer balms are really shiny and I like them a lot. These lip stains and balms are more expensive but they are worth the $12
